Have all the 2009 Blu-ray movies been announced already? - Blu-ray Forum

This is truly my first year following movie releases so I'm not too familiar with how many months in advance do studios announce the release of a movie. Have all the movies been listed that will come out in 2009 on Blu-ray or is it likely we will see more movies announced this month?

I'm mainly wondering about catalog titles and some of the titles Universal has released in HD already since I thought those would be the easiest to release on Blu. Seeing that the year is almost up, it's looking like there aren't that many other big catalog titles being released this year that have not been announced by the studios already.

Like Bad Boys, Dante's Peak and Demolition Man for example.

There might be a few more announcements for the November and December months. Its not yet known but G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and Harry Potter: The Half-Blood Prince are rumored for Decembeer to cash in on the Holiday season.

As for catalog releases...

Hard to say at this time. Titanic and American Beauty were rumored for the end of the year but no announcement yet. Universal also has not revealed any catalog releases for end of November and December. I doubt Uni would miss out on the last month and a half of the year.

There's probably still some November and December titles that haven't been announced yet.

Would probably be AFTER it's re-released in 3D.

Titles like "HALLOWEEN 2", "THE FINAL DESTINATION" and "G.I. JOE" gonna be released on December!!!
