My Parents just went out and got a 46" Panny G15, Plasma, and I was wondering is there any "special" settings they should be doing for the 1st 100hours of usage. I just got myself a Pioneer Kuro 5020 back in February, and I went thru the whole "break-in" period. With the Slide show colour display wheel from the USB stick, that I found at AVSForums.com, Really don't want my parents to go thru all that here. I just warned them to only watch HD programing for the first 100 hours, and make sure everything is stretched to the limits.
Any other info greatly appreciated. Is the "Break-in" stuff really overated? I Can see not watching Standard Def, so you don't have the "burn-in" side walls etc...... For example should I bump up the brightness, contrast, gama, etc.....for the first 100 hours? any settings greatly appreciated. Really could use some info here, looks like a solid TV, Not Kuro quality but close.... LOL!!! ![]() Thanks again, this forum/site rocks. ![]() |
