Default G10/G15 25p situation?

Just read in another thread about a possible firmware update for the G10 (hopefully the G15) that helps take care of the 24p issues. Anyone know about this?
Also, considering the capabilities of the G15, what settings do you recommend for the TV and Blu-Ray (panny 55) with regard to the 24p?

Link to the discussion? I didn't think you could fix something like that with a "simple" firmware update

I don't turn 48hz on due to that flicker although the TV handles 24p content fine at 60hz, I hate having an option that isn't really an option

From gamebred:

I have heard of the G10 flickering with blu-ray play but there was a firmware update that supposedly resolved this issue. Other than that, the plasmas are pretty solid performers when it comes to HD/ blu-ray play without relying on dejuddering features that just make things worse, IMO.

I can't find any mention of an update that fixes the issue anywhere.

I didn't think it was possible either, through an update...just thought I'd check. I, like you, have the 60hz on. Does seem strange that they would include an option that doesn't really perform well.
