Magnolia Nabs Sexy Werewolf Horror 'Jack and Diane'

No release details yet, but expect a limited theatrical run, along with a VOD/DVD launch.

"Jack and Diane, two teenage girls, meet in New York City and spend the night kissing ferociously. Diane's charming innocence quickly begins to open Jack's tough-skinned heart. But when Jack discovers that Diane is leaving the country in a week, she tries to push her away. Diane struggles to keep their love alive while hiding a secret that her newly awakened sexual desire is turning her into a werewolf."

Minogue and Temple share a little girl on girl action. I haven't been this excited since Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried locked lips in Jennifer's Body.

Sounds interesting and one I'll be checking out for sure. Let's just hope it get's a blu-ray release as I'm not to sure if these VOD movies ever make it to blu as I don't keep up with most of them.

It will get a Blu. Magnolia is really good about releasing their movies on Blu-ray.

Anyway, I've been following it from the beginning when Ellen Page was initially in it. Sounds pretty cool. I'll definitely see it.

Good to know it will get a Blu release. Just remembered they also released Ondine which was a really good looking blu-ray.

Never knew Ellen Page was going to be in this. That would have been awesome as I'm a fan

Great - that'll get them into the theater in droves....

As long as its got that iconic tune from John Cougar MenstrualCramp in it, it'll be worth it.

Hey, it's not ALL lesbian vampires, you know!

(Although it does sound like somebody got the "Lesbian vampire" movie mixed up with the "Crabby tween-girl addiction/menstruation-alllegory Ginger Snaps werewolf movie", and then decided to go for the Homophobia allegory...
Which is usually done for the vampire movies.

I almost forgot about this one, I also was keeping a eye on it when Ellen Page was still attached. Trailer has me intrigued, it also helps that Juno Temple is in it. I've been a fan of her since I saw her in Mr. Nobody

Well, it's just Magnolia, so instead of theaters, they'll just plaster it all over Playstation Network and no one will notice.
Problem is, now we'll be stuck with it on Instant Netflix for the next six years.
