United Kingdom James Bond boxset 2 in UK?

Sorry if this has been discussed somewhere, but is there going to be a second Bond boxset in the UK for Goldfinger etc? All I can see listed is the 3 individual releases due for release next Monday.

Check out my last post on page 21. That´s what Norway (and Scandinavia) will get next week. My guess is that UK will get the same:

There is nothing special with UK! so u will have access to the same bd's released in sone B as all other european countries.

So on the 25th march we get bond box set 3 & 4. If you have been following this release u know maybe I am mad as a elk that I can't buy these disc individual but the box'es is coming next week.

Do you have a link to the boxes? Looked on the usual amazon and play and can't find any mention of them

Check my previous reply. In the link I posted you'll find a new link to cdon.com. There you'll find both the boxes.

I recon that Fox UK will do james bond volume 2 blu-ray boxset when the other three movies are ready.

Since volume one was 6 disks I am going to assume that volume 2 would be as well.

Its a shame realy that they did not do a box set of 3 like the US set. I did pick up volume 1 in the box set but since I can't wait I am picking them up seperatly this time round.

yep this is a real bummer.. i bought volume 1 with the six films.. dont really want to buy the others individually... i really hope they have a volume 2 soon... i usually dont give a crap about thin/thick boxs or having stuff matching.. which is why i bought the 6 film volume 1 rather than each one individually... any ideas on when volume 2 might be ready in uk/ireland?

I'm also desperate for information on this. A lot of contibutors to this and other threads on the same subject are not from the UK and seem to be under the impression that we got the two 3-pack volumes that just about everyone else in the world got - us Brits only have ONE volume so far, consisting of the SIX films that were released last Autumn.

Default James Bond boxset 2 in UK?

Hi
Since the James Bond Blu-ray Collection (Vol 1) was released in the UK last October, 3 further BD's (Goldfinger/Moonraker /The World Is Not Enough) hit the market last month. In the US, these releases can be purchased individually or in a boxset. Currently, the same releases can only be purchased individually here in the UK! Now,a further 2 BD releases (The Man with the Golden Gun/Licence To Kill) will be available from next Tuesday, May 12th in the US. They are not currently scheduled for release in the UK!!

So what's going on MGM? When can we here in the UK (the country that gave the world James Bond) expect the well overdue James Bond boxset (Vol 2)? Anybody else agree we Brits are not getting a fair deal from MGM?

I would like to know if the rest of the sets will be released as I`m tempted to buy the vol 1 set as its reasonably priced but not if no further sets are issued.

Eventually these will probably end up all in one 20+ disc box set, just like the dvds have been released many times over.

With the 50-year anniversary and the release of the 23rd Bond film in 2012, I reckon it's almost certain that we'll get a special edition 50th anniversary box set of all of the Bond films on Blu-ray to coincide with all that next year.

What's annonyed me about this scattershot release schedule is that I've had to hold on to certain dvds. Couldn't sell on my Sean Connery boxset because I wanted to keep YOLT and DAF. I had seperate releases for the Brosnan and Moore films so I got rid of the ones available on bluray.

The news about Bond 23 is most welcome, can't wait to see my favourite James Bond return next year. And if MGM want to start making money as opposed to losing they will release the remaining Bond movies on bluray. Really want OHMSS, TLD and Goldeneye.

In the UK/Ire we still haven't got certain titles yet, TMWTGG and LTK. I had to import them ones.

Does anyone have pictures of the Volume One boxset? It's almost reasonably priced on amazon at the moment?

I'm tempted to pick up Volume 1 too. Anyone know what type of cases the films come in? Are they individually packaged?

Some of the reviews on Amazon say that it's a slipcase/digipack, so they're not individually packaged, which is what put me off buying the set. It's at a decent price, but I'd like to have a complete collection in film release order on my shelf.

I'm with you Chris I wouldn't mind slimline cases, I'd prefer normal Amaray but the Digipak put's me off. It may be a bad choice financially. But I think a lot of collector's would agree. Unless of course I was to buy volumes two and three and you can wager with good odds that they might not match.
