Default Amazon's price fluctuations

I don't know what others think, but I'm starting to get annoyed at Amazon's price fluctuations. Specifically, they seem to jack the price up on a movie, only to lower it back down to where it was a day earlier.

Take a movie like Unforgiven. Below is a screen shot showing what they've been doing with it.

It seems to me that they're trying to exploit the price tracker on this site and others to create the illusion of frequent discounting. Seen it on many titles lately. Just wondering if it's bothering anybody else...

It's Amazon's job to make money. It's the consumer's job to educate themselves whether they are getting a good value or not.
