Dang, man. I bet you got something good hooked up to your 1018...I've never heard my Kuro speakers, hooked them up for show and forgot about them.

You've got them set up at just under a tenth of a second - not enough to notice. I'd turn off any lag setting, period. Is it only through broadcast on the satellite box, or is it from all sources?

Its from all sources. PS3 as well.

I got klipsch 82 reference series. Video and audio is off.

Video from PS3 and Sat box go into the 1018. 1018 does the rest.

Sry. Video from sat goes into direct into tv(hdmi). Sat audio into A/V.

PS3 hdmi goes into A/V. A/V out into tv(hdmi).

It has to be in the 1018. I'm using the Elite 84THx's - they have a lag setting, but I don't know about the 1018.

If you're seeing lag from satellite and PS3, I can't see how the Kuro is doing it. Unless it's twice as bad from satellite...

I'd try putting the 1018 in pure stereo mode - no sound decoding, no effects, nothing, and see if the MCACC does anything odd (not sure how sophisticated MCACC is on the 1018, but it has the same base settings as my receiver, just less twiddling stuff).

And if the 101 has ANY lag settings defeat them. You'd only need that in an odd circumstance with dubbed movies or something...

Hit Audio Parameter on the remote.

Scroll down until you see delay.

If you are using the a/v composites (red/white) cables for your audio...that's the problem right there. I don't know what a/v receiver you have but using a hdmi, optical or digital coaxial to run audio will solve this issue. The video signal is being processed faster than the two channel composites. This is no fault of the Kuro.

**Edit** sorry, noticed you mentioned the Pio 1018...which has 3 opticals and 2 digitals

Wiring runs......

PS3 --hdmi > 1018 --hdmi> Kuro
Bell --optical> 1018 (audio)
Bell --hdmi> kuro. (visaul)

Audio lag runs on both inputs PS3 and Satellite. Lag seems to be the same.

Default Kuro Audio Lag

sorry to hear of your problem. Congrats on your Kuro. i have a kuro as well the 151fd. i dont have any sort of audio lag. i have a pioneer vsx94 a/v receiver but your 1018 is very similar. i tried to find my audio lag setting but my mcacc is on so i don't think i can check/change it unlesss mcacc is off. i use the hdmi cables for audio as well. do you have old or new hdmi cables ? i think the older version of hdmi cables were video only. i have the newer hdmi 1.3a cables that carry audio as well. also are your hdmi cables the same version ? why do you need the audio (optical) cable ?
