Default HDMI 1.4 Receivers???

Ok guys, I know HDMI 1.4 is peeking around the corner. The cables are already beginning to be released I'm told, 2k x 4k TVs are on the semi-distant horizon and Krell just announced it's first Blu-ray player that is 3D, 2k x 4k AND HDMI 1.4 ready for $15,000. What about AVR's??? Anyone know if we're all gonna have to fork over a few more grand in the near future for HDMI 1.4 Receivers? I'm about to get a Pioneer SC-25. It would suck to have to turn around and buy another one in 6 months.....

Default Hdmi 1.4

Onkyo has announced that it will be releasing its HDMI 4.1 receivers this spring. No prices yet, but they may announce those at CES this weekend.

The 1.4 hdmi is just for HDTV 3-d use correct? If that's the case I won't stress about having JUST purchased a new upgraded receiver...

Not just 3D use.... it supports 2k x 4k resolution; 3 to 4 times clearer than 1080p, Ethernet, color and so on. Im getting the Elite SC-25. Screw it.
