HTiB run at 6ohms I remember hearing, correct?
I got two tower speakers from a buddy of mine that have a 15" subwoofer, 4" mid, and a 3" tweeter. The normal impedence on them is 8ohms, and max 120w of power. So having a receiver from a HTiB, and 8ohms needing more power, is it not sending as much to the towers? If I was to get a new receiver, would it make them louder? The kid I got them from said they were real loud at his dads house, and I kind of want them to be.. |
