What is with People NOT reading their PMs? - Blu-ray Forum

I currently have 7 unread messages, the most recent sent yesterday, and ALL of those people where active on the site today.
The only thing I can think of is that they don't notice the itty bitty "unread X" text on the upper right corner.
I know that most forum softwares have some kind of pop-up alert to let you know when you have unread messages, is this not the case with the one being used here?
Why not activate it?

This site does have a pop up alert for when you get a PM

Well it has the option for it, but not everyone uses it. I've sometimes sent PMs and haven't received responses for a few days...it happens...people sometimes miss seeing it or read it, plan to respond later, and simply forget...

or, like ric said, they're just ignoring you

I personally would not worry about it ! If you get A response than fine , If you don't O-WELL

They possibly read their PM's from their email. I do that often withoug opening my PM Box.
