Default HD DVD's good news thread for 2007

Oh yeah, Sony is paying a lot of money for endcap space at Target!

I made the same post on the AVS Forum just for fun but it probably already got deleted. Sorry but after reading all that BS from the fanboys I just couldn't resist.

um.... um....

Boy... that's a tough one.

The good news for the format would be if they dragged it behind the barn and shot it and put it out of it's misery.

Damn, they already deleted my thread. Funny thing is a Mod told me that they don't allow things like that. I think that AVS Forum has a lot to lose if this format war is no more. Everyone would flood Blu-Ray.com and they would lose so many visitors.

I tend to agree.

While I exclusively own blu-ray and have no intention of purchasing HDDVD (unless they pull off an upset), there are many titles from universal I'd love to have in my collection.

i've decided however that bd is ultimately the better format, that the PS3 is one hell of a bang for the buck (even at $600 it's a steal in my opinion), and that ultimately bd will win and universal (and fox) will come around.

when I saw this thread title my first thought was ''a quick and painless death''. ok maybe just a quick death. that would be good news for everyone.

or maybe ''u.n. peacekeepers deployed to avs to maintain the civility in this format war, and police the hd terrorist controlled territory''. that would just be good news to help them stop looking soooooo ignorant.

Technically, this should be one of the shortest threads in history...
