Any word on Sergei Bondarchuk epic War and Peace? The definitive version of course.

Yes it is a very cool movie. But I can tell you that it will not soon be released on Blu Ray.

Last year, around the end of October, Ruscico made an unofficial announcement that they would start bringing classic Soviet films to Blu-ray later this year. But I have not yet seen any specific films being mentioned.

Not sure why the icon was changed to the Ukranian flag but the movie is based on a Russian autors work. I understand the director was born in Ukraine but this is a Russian film.

RUSCICO would not be seized, this is rather Mosfilm to produce films on BD. And the Russian flag will be visible on the site blu-ray.com
