I was wondering about buying into BD stock. Sony or its subsidiaries, any one know of any of the symbols for any of the companies i might want to buy stock in that has to do with BD?

buying sony on the premise that blu-ray is going to 1) sky rocket and 2) win the war is foolish and you're better off buying scratch offs. ps3 console and blu-ray is only a portion of what sony produces worldwide. so let's say blu-ray does phenomally ps3 sales go through the roof, those profits, if any will only offset losses in other areas of the company.

Don't invest using money you can't lose. Don't invest hoping for a short term gain because you might lose.

So invest if you have the money but do so wisely.

i completley agree, "investing" is like gambling. dont gamble with money you cant lose, ever seen Rounders
