Oldboy subtitles question

I couldnt really find any info on this. I'm going to pick up Oldboy, but I'd like to know something about the english subtitles.

To anyone who has the blu-ray, are the english subtitles within the frame of the image or do they overlap into the horizontal black bars?

This wont prevent me getting the movie, but I'm curoius nonetheless. I'd just prefer the subtitles to be contained within the actual filmed image.

If someone could check that would be great. Thanks.

Well, I can't check at the moment, but I think I remember the subs being displayed below the image (in the lower black bar).

I'm not certain though, you should wait for someone else to confirm this. I'm suprised that the review doesnt mention it, most reviews here do. I too like to see subs in the image.

I just popped it in, and on my system, at least it's... well, both. If there's one line of dialogue, it's over the image. If there are two lines, one line is over the image, and the second line is in the black area under the image.
