testing on differant channel? - Blu-ray Forum

is it safe to test a pair of speakers shortly on a different channel, I want to test a pair of surrounds S3 to be exact on the receivers front terminals. I ask because they need testing and my receiver is shot it will only work for a short time so if I move them to the front sound stage I will at least be able to hear them work until I get a new receiver.

Shouldn't be a problem.
