Arrow Undying - Kurt Russell

Huge Kurt Russell fan here (from way back to his cheesy Disney movies)

Quote:
Kurt Russell has signed on to star in the neo-noir supernatural thriller Undying. Written by Gary Whitta (The Book of Eli), the film is about a private investigator named Virgil Lone who falls into a surreal underworld after he’s hired by a mysterious woman named Delia. According to THR, production is set to begin this fall.

Russell recently joined the cast of Rupert Wainwright’s historical drama Waco. Whitta is also writing the MMORPG movie The Defenders for producers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman (Star Trek).
It's not much, but any new project Russell's doing is good news

I had heard that Russell had pretty much retired from acting. Glad to see that's not the case.

I thought there was a connection but not sure. I would assume that if it was that Barker would have some sort of connection...if not directing possibly producing. If he is connected then it is definitely connected to the game.

How strange just two days ago I was watching Tombstone, and thinking about how much I miss seeing Sam Elliott and Kurt Russell in movies anymore. Death Proof was 3 years ago now. After reading about this project I saw that Kurt is also attached to the movie "Waco" about the events in 1993 in Texas, but I couldn't find any info about who he'd play. Far as I'm concerned I'll watch anything Kurt does, and I too remember the Computer Wore Tennis Shoes.
