Hi guys, looking for any input. I ordered 4 movies and was successfully charged for 4. I received a notice saying 2 shipped with no info on the other 2. I sent a message through their site twice asking for status on the other 2 (whether they would be refunding or sending soon). Haven't heard back and it's been a week. Is this place usually non-responsive with US customers? So they normally ship as available rather than wait til an order is filled?

Same thing with me. I ordered 2 movies from them a while ago and my order used to be listed under my account but 1 day it disappeared. I sent 2 e-mail in English and 1 in French and never got an answer. I placed the same order again (cheaper this time around)
I received shipping notification saying the movies were shipped on april 24th and 28th. We'll see when/if they arrive. Anyway, it was my first time and probably the last time ordering from them. Last edited by ArieS; 05-11-2010 at 06:10 PM. |

Order a bluray a month ago from them have not receive it and customer service has ignore me.

Purchased two blus last week. Minority Report and Saving Private Ryan. Arrived on time. No issues.
I did however try to get their contact team to change the delivery address after ordering but they only replied after shipment that it was too late (duh). |

FINALLY received a response after 2 weeks. Looks like they are sending my order in pieces (what was available). Hopefully I actually receive it.
Be warned - this place will charge you regardless of availability. The site said ships within 4-7 working days. One of the movies I ordered still isn't in stock but I was charged for it on 4/26. Today is 5/17. |

Till 1 year ago Mediadis was a good onlinestore.
Last year it went bankrupt, and has been taken over by another company (Free Record Shop). Since then you better avoid them! (no more order tracking, answering takes 2 weeks at least, sending wrong articles, immediately charged - refunds take a lot of time,...) Complaints can be done at Becommerce (only in French and Dutch). I made a complaint, and gave them a link to this site and other forums complaining about mediadis. |
