Well, the top two are different films! I've only seen the top one, but I've heard the second one, with Colin Firth, is awesome too. Those are the two you want.

All based on same book. Top disc is the newest film version. The bottom 3 are the same but it is the BBC mini series. Around 6 hours long and very good. I have the bottom UK copy PQ & AQ are great. The wife loves this. Hates the film.

Yep^^^^

One was a 1995 TV mini series. with very high ratings at IMDB! and the other a 2005 movie.

Default Take the advice of this Janeite:

the Blu-ray version of the 1995 mini-series is the definitive version. The 2005 movie was wrong in feel from the book, making the family less "middle-class" which was important in that you need to see what Mrs. Bennett was striving to get her girls to marry into. Also, how Mr. Bennett viewed his wife was not accurate, so you don't get a proper portrayal of why Mr. Bennett at first didn't want Elizabeth to marry Darcy. He held his wife in more than a little mild ridicule, and this is not brought out in the 2005 film. As a movie all on its own it's fine, but not as an adaptation of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. It all depends on if that is your priority. If it is that you want more definitive Austen, get the 1995 BBC/A&E version. And it looks stunning in blu!

I agree with all of this 100%!!

Here is the reason the 2005 film can't compare:

it doesn't cover the development of Wickham, Darcy and Lizzy, a critical triangulation. It may have spent 5-10 minutes on it, but the 1995 version spends about 2 hours on it! This would be like a LOTR release that didn't include any development on the 4 hobbits!

I have the 2009 BD release. Other than a different cover, how does the 2010 BD release differ from the 2009 version?

Thanks. Given it's more expensive, I thought they might have added/updated something. Guess it's just a premium price for a different cover.

Default Exactly, pro-B.

I wasn't clear why they put another version out this year either. Is it in the aspect ratio that was originally shown on TV--1.33:1, as opposed to the 1.78:1 that came out last year?

Hello,

I am fairly certain it is just a second pressing. The price difference is somewhat puzzling, though.
