Default Former Wal-Mart exec heads to DreamWorks

I wonder if a former Walmart executive heading to Dream works and a former Walmart Chief Operating Officer taking a executive position at Microsoft could have a negative impact on BLU-RAY. I guess I could think up all kinds of conspiracy theories. Hopefully Walmart will one day go BLU-RAY exclusive and not HD-DVD exclusive. Looks like both formats will coexist for a few years do to the Paramount and Dreamworks HD-DVD exclusive deal.

Both format's will coexist for a while, but it will be roughly 90:10 a year from now for Blu-ray and that coexistence will be laughable at best. It will be the way Sony still releases UMD, that will be the way it is with HD DVD by the end of next summer.

How does Wal-mart losing executives make Wal-mart more likely to support what those executives supported or support?

Ooo, real plus. I'm curious how not being able to deal with Wal-mart allows him to fulfill his mandate at Dreamworks.
