This is really no surprise. Troma is a small studio just getting into Blu-Ray. There will be growing pains.

I heard that Lloyd Kaufman and his wife put up part of their retirement money to make Poultrygiest (the budget was $450,000). I thoughy they would have been multi millionaires from all those films, VHS tapes, DVD's and blu's they've sold over the years!

I have had Class Of Nuke 'Em High on pre-order for awhile and when I pre-ordered it the release date had already changed. Let's see if it changes again or not.

it was originally supposed to come out at the end of march, the releases were supposed to come every month, poultrygeist was february's and then tromeo should have been for march and so on. now they've straight up cancelled pep squad.

Looks like Troma is delaying again.

According to Best Buy, Class Of Nuke 'Em High is now June 8th, and Tromeo & Juliet is now June 29th.

Glad they're wrong too. I seen that earlier and got pissed but then figured they were probably full of it. They usually screw up the release dates of the less known movies.

My tromeo order from deepdiscount still says the 25th, even though it hasn't shipped yet. Those buying class of nuke 'em high may be pleasantly surprised by the picture. Heard good word from someone with a early copy. He could only post a few snaps he took from a camera but they looked decent enough. Liked what I seen though.

Some people have already gotten their Class of Nuke 'em High, so it is available. It supposedly looks quite good.

DVDTalk review of Class of Nuke 'Em High

I received a shipping notice yesterday for my copy of Class of Nuke 'Em High from Amazon. Can't wait, this is one of my favorite Troma films.

I don't suppose anyone has confirmed if it's the same US cut or the extended Japanese cut have they?

When did this happen? I saw some copies for sale on ebay just a few minutes ago. I wonder what the deal is.

The real question is, when are we getting The Toxic Avenger?

Seriously, Surf Nazis Must Die made it to BD before Toxie? How the hell did that happen????? haha

Though technically, Surf Nazis never actually made it to blu-ray.

I'm so excited about Mother's Day coming to blu-ray! That is my favorite Troma film, followed by Nuke 'Em High and Toxic Avenger.

Though it is not actually a Troma film, they own the rights to There's Nothing Out There. That would be a fun one to own on blu-ray!

Huh...yeah, I see that now. So what happened with that? I'd heard it was announced for March. Since I'm not a fan of the movie (despite its having the best title in cinematic history), I just never checked up, and assumed that it had been released as scheduled.

At any rate, it can't be long before their flagship title comes to BD, right? Personally, I'd love for them to release all the Toxie movies eventually (if the original and Citizen Toxie are guilty pleasures, II and III are guilty-as-sin pleasures)...but I'd be willing to settle for just the first.
