Ian110769 Junior Member Member since:Jun 2006	Why isn't Universal supporting Blu-ray? I was wondering if anyone had any idea what's going on with Universal being the only major film studio that is so far not supporting Blu-ray? They are the only 1 out of the big 8 missing from the line up compared to HD-DVDs 3, of which Universal is one. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't they owned by Viacom, the same people who own Paramount who are supporting both formats. I have to admit to looking forward to the prospect of the new Battlestar Gallactica in HD on Blu-ray which so far doesn't seem likely.
