It's funny too because when that rumor was floating around alot of the major HD DVD supporters on AVS where even admitting that it would be defeat for them.

now we need to trafic new consumers here or to blu-ray sites. So lets talk to google and tell them to have blu-ray stuff pop up when you put hd dvd in.

Has WB announced any new title for HD-DVD since that thread? Maybe all the info was true, WB just did not want to announce it publicly? Ok, I know I am stretching but I can still hope can't I? I just want the war over, and really think that would do it.

I think the war is good in this case, it will force Sony/BD to keep reducing their price.

If blu-ray backers keep buying blu-ray and geting other to buy blu-ray, it will eventualy happen. HD DVD will not exist, everyting will be Blu-ray exclusive.
