G. Carini says:
Nope. HD is more promoted and has more shelves in every store I've been in. And besides, HD-DVD players are much more affordable. Guess why? Lower production costs. Lower production costs are something that will make HD-DVD the winner, and Blu-Ray the loser. Besides, why would anyone want Blu-Ray with all the playback errors and mountain loads of problems it has? HD-DVD is winning just about every battle now and turned the tide sharply in its own favor.

Additionally, there is no difference between uncompressed vs lossless compressed. That's another braindead gimmick that bluboys are clutching at. You're clutching at straws. Once Chinese companies dump cheap HD-DVD I'll pass the tissues to you to wipe away the tears. Quite frankly, Blu-Ray is not economically viable, nor is a good sound business. Studios will start to abandon it within the next year when $80 HD-DVD start coming out. "

I noticed that when I was looking at something, I cant even remember why I clicked on it, but they were talking about HDDVD to take 2008, what a irrelevent mess, an uneducated consumer will get so damn confused and not buy either.

It's kinda sad when even the chinese production market can't make a profit on an HD-DVD player now.

There is no need to get agitated by silly comments. The more we get agitated the more we lose. Let's observe peace and hit the nail on the head when one format is declared the WINNER. Silence and Patience are sometimes Golden.

Best response to such trolls would be to buy more n more BLU titles. Sales figure will teach them just right and bring more studio attentions.

thats the difference between them and people who support Blu-Ray. they lie and say a lot of fud on the internet and to people they meet and as for us we say the truth, nothing but the truth but for us who support blu-ray and not hd-dvd we tell the truth exactally how it is so which means if you changed those words he said to the opposite you will get your truth. i mean come on how many contries is blu-ray winning? a lot thats all i know and as for hd-dvd how many contries that even give a rat's ass about it which is about at the most of 4 or 5 contries

Well, are you winning or not? Your confusing the hell out of me! I mean, if your already winning why do you need chinese companies to dump cheap players?

Anyways, it's all a bunch of fud to start with. They can't even get their lies right.

OHHH where to begin... You really can't. And why bother going over there to post a rebuttal? The problem with argueing with an idiot is that more-often-than-not bystanders can't tell the difference of who's the idiot...

Personally, no one is going to adopt a format from reading that poster's diatribe, and anyone that is reading it that hasn't adopted a format is doing other research and will plainly see that he's full of crap. I wouldn't even waste my time going there...

Blu-ray is not the format infamous for playback errors. I have never read that someone had to boil a BD in order for it to work.

Someone should go over there and call him out on his comments. There are impressionable people that will take his FUD and run with it.

The playback problem is nothing but the mix up of HD DVDs in Blu-ray box sets.:

He sounds like another ill informed child by reading his(it's) post. More often than not, they do damage to their own format with their intelligent posting.

I wish I could be stupid. Clearly it's the "in" thing when it comes to HD-DVD.
