Zombie Movies - Blu-ray Forum

We all love Zombie flicks no matter how crappy some of them are. Lets try to get a list going of zombie movies that are either on blu or even just on dvd for now. I came across this and realized that there are probably alot of titles that are kind of flying under the radar.

It would be really helpful to post a small pic of the cover or even the year and or brief description of the movie if no pic is available. I remember a couple of years back I had seen a movie at Future Shop and I meant to go back and pick it up and now I don't even know what it is. Anyways hopefully we can get a good list going so we can all keep up on what's out there and worth watching. Thanks

Stay far away from that flick! Worst Zombie movie I've seen. I thought it was a sequel to the Dawn of the Dead remake. Wrong! It had nothing to do with it.

The original George Romero "Dawn Of The Dead" from 1978 is my fave!

I have the Anchor Bay blu-ray that contains the theatrical version as well as the 4-DVD Ultimate set with 3 cuts of the film!

I don't know if "Carnival of Souls" from 1963 would be considered a zombie flick, but it is a horror classic IMO. Then there is of course George Romero's 1968 B&W classic, "Night of the Living Dead". I would buy BOTH of those on blu

, bot not the crappy so-called 30th Ann. version of NOTLD that Anchor Bay put out with new footage inserted and crappy new muscial score,same goes for colorized versions, YUCK!

The zombie genre is chuck full of tasty movies...most are not out on bluray yet, though.

You have the classic Fulci Italian zombie movies like Zombie! and City of the Living Dead...among others that are must haves.

The Resident Evil series.

Return of the Living Dead pt 1 2 & 3.

All of the Romero series & their remakes.

Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things/Planet Terror/Dead Alive/Rabid etc.

And numerous numerous other zombie-related titles such as the comedy one above and plenty more. This is a huge genre..definitely one of my favorites!
