Default Whatever happened to copy protection HDCP and AACS
Are HD-DVD and Blu-ray using these or what?

yes they are both using them. HDCP is for HDMI and both players use it and it is a barrier to getting widespread playback on computers. AACS is being used on the discs themselves.
