How can you be blind buying Schindler's List? It's an amazing movie and I kinda want it but it's so depressing, not sure it'll have a lot of replay value for me, not to mention I absolutely detest digibooks.

This one is flying under the radar so much. I thought it was great, Day 1 for me.

I was 8 years old in 1993. Black and white films about WWII aren't exactly appealing to that demographic. I didn't really start watching a lot of movies until 2008, when I got a Netflix account. Knowing that it would eventually be released on Blu-ray, I decided to avoid it. It's one of the few Spielberg classics that I haven't seen. I'll finally get that chance on March 5th!

For me:
Wreck-It Ralph 3D combo (thanks to Scotts/DMR $7 coupon)
Papua 3D: The Secret Island of the Cannibals (I spend about 75-80 percent of my life in Papua New Guinea)
Willow
Rise of the Guardians (Walmart/Vudu preorder)
The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey 3D combo

I'm a big Spielberg fan and I would definitely say this Schindler's List is one of his finest films, if not one of the finest films of all-time period. Yet, I'm not sure if I'm going to buy it. This is one of those films that you'll probably only see once in your life. If your a collector, it's worth getting but if you collect movies with the intention of watching them more than once than I wouldn't buy this one. It's a masterpiece but it's got absolutely 0 replay value. It's so effective and haunting that I can't bring myself to watch it on a comfortable Friday night, lol.

That's great to hear! I didn't expect it to have much replay value, but I want to add it to my collection anyways. I will be selling the DVD and digital copies, so that should offset some of the cost. It will be 1 of 3 Spielberg films I buy in March.

March is going to be an expensive month, so I just sent in $100 worth of trade-ins to get credit. Schindler's List is on the top of my list -- even though it's hard to watch, I have many times, so it has replay value to me.

So far, only these right now at the moment.

Wreck It Ralph 2D - March 5
This is 40 - March 22
The Collection - March 26

A couple other titles i'm interested in but no real rush really.

I have Amazon Credit and BBY RZ certs, along with a coupon I'll be using on those two. Plus I have Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters and Silver Linings Playbook on pre order from Amazon which I'll be using more credit on. So not a whole not for me really the next month or two.

But since everyone's talking about Schindler's List, I saw that in middle school in History class. I think it was in 7th grade. We had to get our parents to sign a permission slip to watch it, cause it was R rated and what the film dealt with.
