Default Hiding HD-DVD's and Playing dirty...

I know some of you guys will contend with me for this but some will sure like it. The other day i was at Suncoast movies browsing for anything used or maybe a very low priced Blu-ray that i dont have (never found it) but (here comes the devilish in me)

I happen to start seeing HD-DVD's and since no one was paying to much attention i started hiding them in the Back of Blu-rays tray so no one would see them or they have to first look at Blu-ray

In Walmart i grabbed about 2 HD-DVD's and told the cashier to hold them for me (cause they hid them under in a box) and never asked for them

I know it was dirty Imma baaad Boyyyy

I work at Best Buy (merch) and I put the hddvd players upstocked (out of reach of customers) and blu-ray player boxes downstocked under their displays.

I intentionally go through the HD DVDs at best buy and take them out of alphabetical order and I also just mess them up anyway I can. Childish...I know but I still think like a 15 year old sometimes.

SoB....its people like you that keep me an hour later at work!...lol...(I work at best buy...media)...but in all seriousness I find myself doing this aswell...like when we had a 300 end cap for like a month after it came out....It had 3 rows of dvds...and then a row with both HD and BD....I took the HD off and made it a row of blu....making them find the hd version tucked inline

no way! i always take the blu-rays and put them in front of the hd dvds at wal mart, so it looks like the entire (not just 75%) of the display is blu. i thought this was way too immature to admit, but since you guys are, i am too.

Sorry dude. And you would think I know better, I worked in retail for 10 years. But I can't help myself, I'm a degenerate at heart. Now the whole taking the HD DVD of 300 off the row and making it all Blu-ray is evil as hell...I LOVE IT!!!!!!

Well there is no need to do that at the BB / Magnolia store my b/f works at. They took down the HD DVD display and replaced it with sharps new blu player.

Not one HD DVD display, that store is just seeing into the future!!!

I love to hit hard in debate tear HD-DVD to shreds, and I can see the humor in what you did, I can't say I'm in favor of it, (the thought hit me too at one time) the reason is that I remember hearing stories of BD movies being messed upped in the sales isle (movies being out of order) and I know that alot of people on this forum were upset by this, I just think that if we do this it'll just make us look bad.

The Staples I work at just got their first IN STOCK desktop PC unit that comes with a Hi-Def drive for both HD DVD & Blu-ray playback. They purchased a copy of MI:3 on HD DVD for display purposes. So, after pointing out the sand-like image quality I told them to remember that when I bring in my BD copy of Pirates 2 tomorrow... All of my co-workers will now be able to see this difference and therefore pass that info onto any customers asking about it!

I play dirty by showing proof.

Hmmm this sounds like something HD-DVD fanboys would do and we shouldn't stoop as low as them... but hell they're always playing dirty and cheap so I don't feel so bad.

Whenever I am in a store that carries HD-DVDs, I grab as many as I can, pile them in a heap at the front of the store and pee on them while humming the thunder rolls by Garth Brooks. I also wait outside of Best Buy with a bucket of animal blood, and when someone comes out with an hd-dvd movie or player, I dump the blood on him/her and scream "Baby Killer!" It's all in good fun of course.

I'm sorry but how old are you people things like this make me think you must all be still in gade 8 for crying out loud. Things like this are what make people look at BR supporters and shake their heads like we are all lunatics thanks for proving their point. I am glad I don't work in retail if I ever caught anyone doing this for either format or even in teh gaming isle I would make them straighten it up then escort them out of the store with a banishment for atleast a month. All you are doing is creating more and more work for the people that have to clean that crap up.

I'm sorry we cant all live up to your high standards. Jeez. I'm sure everyone has done some goofy little guilty pleasure before. I personally am friends with several best buy people, and they kind of know I've been there when the see the HD DVD's off. Its kind of my calling card.
