So I just finished up Season 1. WOW cool show! There's some ridiculous stuff, such as how

[Show spoiler]Wallace always seems to be able to copy school records for her and yet he never gets caught?

Hmmmm...

[Show spoiler]She's able to steal evidence from the police locker, and yet nobody does anything about it other than give her that "oh you crazy girl, you!" look.

Other than that, I love this show.

Wondering though....is the second and third season going to be serialized like the 1st season

or are they all standalone eps?

I prefer the seralized route.

I really enjoyed this show and hope they do make the Veronica Mars movie one day. But the show is still serialized in season 2 and 3 with more stand alone episodes if I remember but still one big season long mystery to solve.

Seasone 1 and 2 where serialized and still focused on Lilly Kane, but season 2 also had it's own much bigger arc that mainly overshadowed Lilly. Season 3 in college was mainly standalone episodes. I loved his series, still remains one of my favorites. V-Mars was such a sassy little spit f*ck. Mack was great too, and I still remain a Cassidy "Beaver" Casablancas fan.

Aaron Echolls was my favourite villain on the show, he just would not go away and he almost always got what he wanted.

I don't find the writing dated at all but I try to watch my shows without overly paying attention to that, only recently(2008 I think) bothered by the writing in Buffy a bit.

I just finished VM and the hiatus drags on. Maybe I need a hobby.

I was thinking if they do get that VM movie off the ground, theyll need plenty of lead time to get Francis Capra and Erico Colantoni back to playing weight. I saw both of them in Dec on Bones it looked like they were having some kind of contest.

I saw them recently too, both quite heavy. The movie was planned to take several years ahead though and originally Veronica was the only cast member they would have kept. They did film a teaser treatment for a potential season 4 which showcases this, but for me without the originals, it would have been a shadow of it's former glorious self.

(The film would be released in the first quarter of 2014 for a limited-time theatrical run, before moving to VOD, iTunes, and other digital platforms.) If they don’t reach the goal: No movie.
