Talking PSM Changes to Playstation: The Official Magazine, with Blu-ray pack in

Not sure if this was posted but I searched and did not see it.

PSM owned by Future Media was formally the worlds best selling Playstation magazine and was independent. Obviously Sony in their effort to return focus to PS3 as a game console has bought PSM and renamed it to Playstation: The Official Magazine. Which each month will include a free Blu-ray packed with game demos, movie previews, video articles, and possibly downloadable content (Themes, wallpapers, ect.) I personally love this as I have been a PSM subscriber for over 8 years and love that my fav mag is also officially endorsed with free goodies!

I've subscribed to PSM for many years and got the first Official mag yesterday. No Blu-ray though. And they never offered a subscription upgrade or anything to me either when sending me info about the change over.

I haven't received the current issue yet, but I wasn't offered/notified about any upgrades either.

I got my first issue yesterday and am very dissapointed. Half of the mag is about cell phones and moble gameing Not only that the ratings for games are way off they are giving crappy titles 4/5. Seem like a big advertisment for the ps3 instead of a mag.

there also was no blu ray demo disc

bring back the PSM!

The latest issue of Mac|Life aslo had a huge Special Advertising Section on cellphone gaming. I'm assuming it was a one-time-only deal.

PC Gamer magazine is also full of cell phone gaming now.
I have been a subscriber for years and now they have 10 to 20 pages of cell phone gaming in each magazine.

They are games but I don't see how thay have anything to do with my PC.

Unless the BD contains stuff that is not on the PSN it's not really worth it for the what's probably extra cost.
