As well as Play.com's 3 for 2 on UK blu rays, Zavvi (which used to be Virgin Megastore) is also offering 3 for 2, on different titles to Play

This is exactly what the UK market needs to kick HD DUD's arse

Although I'm sure it's still cheaper to buy online than in-store, HMV are doing a 3 for 2 offer on select BDs and movies like the Spider-Man trilogy are included! Guess that won't be the free on though!

It was mentioned on here yesterday that Gamestation are also doing the 3 for 2. It's probably still cheaper getting individual titles from somewhere like sendit.com than the 3 for 2 at HMV or Zavvi because the last time I visited HMV some of the title they had were around £30 each! I've taken advantage of the play and amazon UK 3 for 2 offer and saved myself a few pennies.

All these offers that seem to be appearing everywhere in the UK at the moment can only help put an end to HD-DVD here. And about time too
