As the title says they made another movie. Though I guess one of the good things is that it wasn't directed by Declan O'Brien. The director of Parts 3-5. I guess he was busy ruining the Joy Ride movies I suppose. The new film is directed by Valeri Milev. Director of such films as Re-Kill and Code Red.
So here is the plot for the movie. Tell me if this sounds familiar at all? Quote:

I guess it'll only stop when people stop watching/buying these movies. They make them on the cheap, and make back a good profit I'm sure.
The last one in the series I saw was part 3. But that's cause it was god awful. Parts 1 and 2 were the only good ones. |

I think these movies are just dumb fun, and I'm glad they keep cranking them out. I will keep watching them as long as they keep making them. 3 and 5 were a little weak, but I've even enjoyed those to some extent.
In fact, I'd say this series is the closest thing this generation has to a Friday The 13th franchise. Saw doesn't count, as those were too gritty and mean spirited. It's nice to have a lite, fun slasher franchise to look forward to every other year or so. P.S. Those who stopped at 3 are missing out, because Bloody Beginnings was extremely fun! Reminded me of Blood Tracks meets Slumber Party Massacre, for those who are into '80s slashers. |

Luck has it that the director probably had to sleep with the studio head to get this directing gig. A homage to Texas Chainsaw 3D -- which people hate.
Just when you think your life is in the dumps, something like this happens. |

Part 6? I stopped at number 3! The second one was awesome but the rest of them are so bad not even Eliza Dushku could save part 1.

That was Joe Lynch. Something else he thought they do aswell. But didn't and went a different route.

Some day I'll have to catch up with all the sequels. I really enjoy the first one and I remember seeing it in theaters and I've definitely watched it a few times over the years. I've heard mixed things about the rest. Some are supposed to be horrible and some are supposed to be surprisingly good.
I don't get what the problem is. They keep pumping Transformers and a bunch of other crap that costs $200 million. These are low budget straight to DVD/Blu. Who are these harming exactly? |
