Price is solid, and I'm assuming back/interior art will be the same as the international version with the same cover?

Would be nice to have a Debossed title. But seeing how the other TF4 Steel didn't match up with the International one, I doubt it will.

This release doesn't make sense. At all. And how come we are learning this from an ad that takes place so soon? Could this be an error? Ads are printed months in advance, so it's possible this was initially a release date? Maybe this was scrapped last minute and the Optimus case is supposed to be pictured as a sale item? It doesn't say 'New This Tuesday' or anything...

Too many questions...

Hmm. That's a cool steel. But Best Buy will have Transformers for $6 on Black Friday. Have to decide if the steelbook is worth an extra $7 for packaging.

I'm debating the same thing. I only have the amarays of the first three movies, do I really need a steel for the 4th?

Yeah, it depends on how nice the steel is in person. I liked the movie, but I didn't love it -- told myself I'd pick it up when the price was low enough. For me, it's worth the $6.

I'll probably just end up getting the regular Blu-ray for the $6 and not pay more than twice that just for the case it comes in.

Would be hilarious if this got interior artwork, seeing as the Best Buy exclusive got just a gray smear (if you consider that "artwork"). Hell, even the amaray case got interior art: Optimus riding Grimlock.

If this steelbook got that inside artwork, and a decent back artwork of say, Bumblebee or Lockdown, would buy and then sell the amaray case I got.

I'm not expecting it to have inside artwork at this price, but if it does, that would be a bonus.

Holy crap I was right about the inside artwork!

Back is no Bumblebee or Lockdown, but at least it's the Transformers 4 logo rather than the overused Decepticon/Autobots that were featured on Best Buy's steelbooks this Summer, so it's still pretty unique. Welp, time to upgrade!
