Given its released by Paramount I am not holding my breath for S2 on BD in the UK. They have a woeful track record of giving up on BD for TV. In the UK Ray Donovan S2 went to DVD only and is only BD in the US. Is the same with their various CBS shows they distribute like H-5-0.

Penny is way more mainstream for Blu Ray than a procedural and Ray Donovan. Of course This will get a Blu Ray release. It was even on bestseller list on UK Amazon in sales.

So Paramount HAS SCREWED us yet a AGAIN It's what we have come to expect from them.

At least people can import, unlike The 100 Season 2 from Warner.

But as I said GoT is HBO who are one of the biggest BD supporters. Paramount hate their customers and just look to maximise profit. They have too much previous bad form on screwing BD fans especially in Europe.

My sister bought season 1 from the US as a gift for christmas and unfortunately it won't play in my PS3.

At the moment it looks like scandinavia will have a blu-ray release of season 2, at least it is possible to sign up to get notified when it's available at cdon.com.

I can not believe This not getting a Blu-Ray release in the UK. Lets wait and see because to not release This on Blu is just damn weird. On Amazon uk the season 1 Price for both the Blu and dvd Seem to suggest that dvd do not sell as good as the Blu for This show. That is even more mystifying if there is no Blu release of This in UK. Germany is releasing s2 of Ray Donovan in september so if UK does not get This i think Germany will.

And are we even sure the US set is region coded too. On the backcover there is no region A logo at all. If its locked they usually show its locked on the backcover

How can we contact them to see if its just amazons trigger happy Pre-order again and that a Blu is coming too ?

Are Paramount still distributing titles in the UK?

Back in February there were articles about Universal distributing for Paramount but I have not heard anything since then. Just had a look at the Terminator Genisys pre-orders on Amazon and they still have Paramount listed but on BVA they have Universal listed.

I will try the discs again during the weekend in my PS3 and two other blu-ray players which are all Region B players and see if the discs are infact Region A locked (No one will be happier then me if they work)

Neither do any of the 8 seasons of Dexter, but they are all A locked. Plus Gandalf_515 has already said he has tested Season 1 & it won't play.

you are right not looking good at all. But can we contact paramount UK about this though. I find it very hard to believe they would skip a Blu-Ray release for a show that likely sell more on Blu than dvd. That just does not make a lick of sense. I hope its again amazon trigger happy with their preorder for the stinking dvd

Our Season One set is locked too, mate, and that doesn't say on the cover. I think it's probably a Showtime obligation, pointless as far as I can tell, all the releases are through Paramount. Showtime even lock their YouTube videos depending on content ... and they have show promos on the US BD.
