Would love to see this on blu, one of my favorite sports movies. The homage to Bruce Lee is CLASSICCCCC

I think I've seen this movie but I don't think the movie relates to Bruce Lee. Its alright but I wouldn't buy it on blu-ray. Thats just me.

I meant the character who like dresses like him and does a bunch of stuff just like Bruce Lee

Nothing relates to him, it's a homage, through one of his brothers. He even looks like Bruce Lee.

I agree, and that goalie looked a LOT like Bruce Lee! But I would want the Hong Kong version, not the edited down, rescored US version.

I will def get Shaolin Soccer on Blu. It's goofball at it's finest. I hope his remake of The Green Hornet will be good.

Does anyone know if the quality on the Korean release is better than the UK release? It has much better packaging but I'm curious if anyone knows if the transfer is better... especially because it wasn't as good on the UK disc for the Director's Cut.

Various cuts of the quirkier Asian material--
The US version focuses on the sports parody, shortens the dance number, and streamlines out some of the plot about the coach working for Coach Evil (they no longer carry away his shoe), but it's still good enough, especially for kids.

(And miles funnier than the sloppy "Kung Fu Hustle", that unfairly got all the press and Sony backing after Soccer's popularity.)

Damn, I wish they would release a American Blu-Ray! If it did so well in US theaters, then why would they not release a Blu-Ray?
