Uh...not to rain on the parade, but is there some other quote somewhere that says they're actually going to release it? That one there seems like it could mean either "we don't have it and thus obviously it is unscheduled" or "we have it but don't know when we're going to release it."

It definitely implies they have it. If they didn't, they would outright say they don't have it. Saying it's unscheduled means they have the rights, but they don't know when they're going to release. They've said as much in several other inquiries, which all turned out to be formally announced eventually.

Oh, how I love this movie! Is it possible to get footage on the blu ray of Joan Crawford, the original Miriam Deering, before being replaced by Olivia de Havilland?

Great news Akijama, thanks, now Die Die My Darling please. When I was a kid, I always looked forward to seeing these airing together during theme week on the WABC-TV 4:30 Movie of the Week ...

Actually, no matter what, Crawford will be in the film - there were some long and back shots that apparently are still in the original movie.

That said, yes, I would love to see that footage...I've seen a lot of rare Crawford footage, and I think there are screen tests from Hush out there but I don't recall ever seeing or hearing about folks having actual scenes still existing. That would be pretty exciting if they had at least some, though.

Die Die My Darling is a very entertaining thriller, I was very pleasantly surprised by it when I was going through all the Hammer horror/thrillers last year. It does not have a good rep, but I liked it a lot. Great early role by Donald Sutherland as the village idiot!

I'd love to see TT release CHARLOTTE, but for the moment, shouldn't this be in the wishlist section?

A couple of years ago, Henry Farrell's WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE was reissued in trade paperback. That volume also contains the rare novella WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO COUSIN CHARLOTTE by Farrell. I believe that may represent the first printing of COUSIN CHARLOTTE.

Nope. As already pointed out, TT confirmed that they have it and they will release it on Blu-ray eventually. They just need to set the date. Hopefully, sooner rather than later.

Anyway, it's a really terrific movie. I've watched it recently, and really enjoyed it. Perhaps not a horror movie per se, but, IMO, it has more genuinely scary moments than say (vastly overrated) the original The Haunting. A classic, indeed.

Amazing news, I absolutely love this film. I honestly thought it already came out, but then I remembered I had recorded it on one of the HD movie stations.

No, it's actually a lame rip off of Les Diabolique.

Great news! I've been wanting to revisit the film, but have held off for more than a year, hoping that it would come to Blu-ray!

Can't wait. Hope there's some new extras (and more than what's on the previous DVDs).
