Maybe mine can be merged with the old topic.

The little paper that has the specifications has a picture of the Crying Freeman on the back. Nice bonus, but that should have been the front of the steelbook to begin with. Without any text at all.

Dang Amazon.fr and their jumping price on this. I've been trying to find another title or two to order with this to help spread out the shipping cost and when I finally do find something the price jumps up. Hopefully it will go back down in a day or two like it did last time and I can finally order a copy.

Isn't it the same release as this one?

Granted, the other thread doesn't appear to be in the correct sub-forum or have been updated much in the OP. Maybe time for a mod to move/combine thread(s)?

I almost pulled the trigger on this one the last time it went down in price, but not having English subs/SDH is unfortunately going to make this a no-buy from me...

EDIT: Aaaand I just saw the OP in this thread already pointed out that another thread exists (it sort of disappeared between the images)

The lack of English subs doesn't really bother me since the movie was filmed in English. The only unfortunate bit would be the few parts where dialog is spoken in Japanese and there aren't any subtitles available.

Since I doubt this movie will get much more of a release anywhere else I can deal without any subs for the bonus features as long as I have a copy of the movie.

I know this is Region Locked B but I've heard elsewhere that you can use the top menu remote trick on this to unlock it on a Region A player. It was mentioned on another forum from a new poster and it was their first and only post. Can anyone here verify this?

I tried on a region A Pioneer but couldn't get to any menus at the "wrong region code"-screen or after hitting stop with the "top Menu" or "Home Menu" buttons.
