Hello, have anyone informations about a planned release, HD-transfers, etc. ?
Not any HD-DVD or Blu-ray exist from this movie.

sheesh yes this thing is taking ages.

I believe someone who worked on it mentioned it was remastered for blu years ago.

Wish I'd seen this earlier! I finally decided to see this and watched the crappy non-anamorphic DVD. If I'd known I would have waited to see is properly!

That's too bad. Don't know which edition you're referring to but the French DVD (supervised by Gans himself) is anamorphic by the way.

I sure hope they do same great work as on the french special edition dvd. It's awesome

Only thing missing on it is english subs when they speak japanese but that is only a few lines so I can live with it.

They're making a new HD master and it's gonna feature the same extras as the DVD + a new Gans interview that is yet to be shot. Not sure about the English subs.

Where you have youre informations ?

I hope the new HD master have the same quality as the new transfer from Silent Hill.

Further I hope a good label become the rights in germany and make a beautiful digibook.

Seems Gans made a new video interview on the blu-ray disc. The dvd seems the same as old dvd. Hoped they would pack everything on the blu-ray for easy viewing.
