It has laready been discussed ad nauseam guys...
1) We do not know for certain that they would switch -at- the CES, Penton definitely hinted that they might be looking at the month post - Holiday season. 2) If they were to switch at the CES, they would not let anyone know before the switch would acutally occur, thus pretending to fulfill their previous engagement up to the last minute (e.g. Paramount). Now, what I am actually curious about is .. are they supposed to show at the BR event or not? (even if only to anounce unrelesed titles coming up). |

I had heard it previously as rumors but engadgethd seem to confirm it. I'm really wondering why they would appear there if they plan to drop them. Furthermore I hear nowhere that they plan to appear at the Bluray press conference ...

![]() I don't think this means anything one way or the other. Just like with Paramount, if Warner makes a move it will be out of the blue (no pun intended) and everything will be business as usual till they decide to announce anything. |

I can only imagine that the schedule of events was thought out and planned quite a while back and Warner probably is going to keep things the way they were scheduled. Don't really read much into it though. Hell, I've been to many conferences that I didn't want to attend, just sat there and pretended to be interested, while the whole time thinking of other things I'd rather be doing. Warner reps will probably be doing the same.
