Default rdjam speaks!!!!

And now rdjam/HD NOW/RobHD claims he has more information...*sigh*

Thought I'd bring it to insider's attention:

Just had the latest email update from the HDNow campaign which starts with the following:

"Our next newsletter is only a few days away, as we are compiling some late-breaking information that appears to be VERY exciting. Look out for it - it's a doozy... Something about a major BD studio going "neutral"!"

I would find it extraordinary if a studio from BD was to go neutral. The only one would be Fox as Sony is highly unlikely and Disney couldn't be more blu if they tried. And even Fox going neutral would be highly unlikely at this stage with the possibility of WB going BD exclusive.

FOX would never go HD-DVD because they are paranoid about copy protection, and DUD is a piracy magnet. BD+ is the main reason they are behind Blu.

there is no way that fox is going neutral. the main reason they are with blu is because of security and hd dvd has absolutely none of that. the only major studio i can think of that would go neutral is lionsgate.

Can't be Fox. Remember that Fox is the company that ushered in BD+ and all of its errr... glory. They love copy protection. HD DVD as some none at all.

personally i think rdjam is full of sh1t, if there was a studio going neutral, i think we would have heard some type of rumor about it, even if it was a simple one from p-man. i think he knows hd dvd is in its final days and he's simply making sh1t up to keep the moral up and to keep hd dvd buyers from going and buying a blu-ray player, because lets face it, these guys are content starved.

ill laugh when its something like tarten too.

Then again it could all be a load of crap from the hd dvd camp. It's not like that hasn't happened before.

The neutral rumor is one of two things.
A) They have a rumor so now we have a rumor too lulz.
or
B) This format war is going to get even more asinine and many people are just going to say **** you to both formats.

I am leaning towards A though.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if it was just a smoke screen to give the red bots a talking point right now. It's probably some BS "Warner is staying neutral" comment to try and deflect away all of the negative press for HD DVD lately.

Yeah, I think it's a couple of DUD fanbois trying to create there own rumor because they're shit scared of the Warner rumor. Damage control of the most desperate kind.
