They are cutting their budget or realized consumers don't do much with a DVD copy.

Anyways, I hated this movie

Never understood including a DVD copy with a Blu-ray. I would never use it.

But WB is still selling them for the same price DVD or not. I'd rather spend more and get more then spend more and get less.

A lot of people did though. People would watch on their computer as most used to have DVD players in them, and in cars that had DVD players in them or on portable DVD players. Very few computers came with BD players, no autos that I am aware of came with BD players and very few portable BD players ever came out but were/are quite expensive. Now if you want to watch without a BD player, there are so many streaming/digital download options, that most don't bother with another physical copy.

But that's what the Digital HD copy is for.

I like to buy my Blu-rays and DVDs separate. The only reason I buy Blu-ray/DVD combo packs is for the Blu-ray disc and because there is no other choice.

You are right, in 2007 when they started the Combos, everyone had all the devices to have Digital copies play on their phones and tablets and computers didn't have DVD players back then and cars all streamed...my bad

I don't think it's Warner that has stopped doing combo packs. I think it's New Line. Barbershop, Me before you, Keanu, How to be single, The Conjuring 2, Lights out, and this are all New Line and are not combo packs and have no slips. Meanwhile BvS, Tarzan, The nice guys, and Suicide Squad are only Warner and are all combo packs with slips

Good point. Would explain how The Nice Guys gets a slipcover and combo pack over movies like The Conjuring 2 and Central Intelligence (non 4K release).

I think the 4K is actually the better deal.

The Conjuring 2 came with the Digital HD code. It has the Ultraviolet sticker on the shrinkwrap.

Nebraska Furniture Mart has the standard (non 4K) on sale for $17.xx

Anyone know if Target or BB PM's them?

I love both Hart and The Rock, but not sure it's worth a blind buy.

First new release movie ever delayed significantly by Amazon for me. Despite having release day shipping and them charging me Saturday for this (UHD version) I just got an email saying it won't arrive until next Monday??? Weird. My local Best Buy has it, I should just go grab it there, or even just take it as a sign and wait for a sale.
