Default Marvel Studios' Eternals 2

Any ideas for a potential sequel and what characters will be featured in it? I'm kinda hoping they set up Apocalypse.

My expectation is that they'll get through whatever crossover appearances the remaining Eternals have planned out, and then they will be quietly retired or relegated to only crossover appearances. Unless Eternals does exceptional box office numbers, I do not think we'll get an Eternals 2.

Based on that little mid teaser credits. It's not going to be based on Earth much and i think Marvel would do well to introduce the X-Men elsewhere.

Is that Apocalypse different from the X-Men one?

If the current Box Office numbers continue, then I think it will get a sequel. However I reckon it will be a different director next time, and they'll probably cut the cast down drastically to just focus on five of the Eternals.

They'll use it to spin into F4. Galactus will be reinvented as a Celestial purposed to devour worlds that manage to defy the Celestials, etc etc.

I totally thought a celestial would turn out to be Galactus.

As for a sequel, I have zero interest.

It'll be directed by James Gunn and be objectively superior in every way, but will go up in flames financially in part due to the reception of the first.

My idea...The Uncanny X-Men opens with this text, "The Eternals died on the way back to their home planet."

First we need The Fantabulous Emancipation of Thena.

But not well. Singer's version of Apoc had it's moments but still was a big disappointment for me. I want to see him done better.

I know he'll be rebooted, but it's too soon after the last movie. Same problem with doing Goblins again already in Amazing Spider-Man 2. I don't think they're going to jump into Dark Phoenix for a long while either.

Here's hoping.

Until Hollywood can figure out how to do Dark Phoenix at least as well as the cartoon did it, I'd really like them to tell other X-men stories on screen.

Tbh I don’t see a Eternals sequel getting made after all of the bad press. However, I do expect to see the remaining Eternal members to appear in other films.

They didn't make any more Hulk films due to rights issues with Universal.

However, with recent reports of a World War Hulk movie, those seem to have been dealt with.
