Default Decent Setup?

Hey guys,

First off let me start off by saying coming in and joining the BD community has been awesome. I kinda started my journey into BD when Best Buy had the Black Friday sale. I picked up an S300, $100 BB gift card, and Spiderman 3 for $348. (price matched to WM)

My setup is as follows...

I have an S300 going into my Olevia 237T (1080i)
I have an optical cable running out of my Olevia into the Pioneer GS1.

My BD is set on 1080i, and DTS/Dolby 5.1. The TV is set on 6500k.

I know this is kinda a washy setup, but it seems really good for me. (Keep in mind, I am a student, with not alot of cash)

Does anyone have some cheap suggestions/settings I could modify to make this even more worth it? I still notice a huge difference, but was just wondering... Thanks.

I would run the optical cable directly from the BD-S300 to the sound system...who knows what you're losing going through the TV.
