Anybody know anything about this release?

It's from the same company that released the Adventures of Captain Marvel on blu ray.
There is nothing online, no reviews, no info yet it's been out for a while. I've heard great things about this serial and i've always wanted to see it.

I remember enjoying all three of them, and would love to see them on Blu-ray. Highly recommended!

Grapevine Video put out an unauthorized blu-ray of ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN MARVEL. Grapvine Video's source was likely the official laserdisc or the official DVD release of AoCM (which used the same masters as the laserdisc).

The only official release of AoCM on blu-ray comes from Kino.

I'm not sure about the copyright status of ZORRO RIDES AGAIN -- I know there were several DVD releases of the serial so it may be in the public domain.

No telling what Grapvine Video's source was (they don't mention on their site), GV's product page says that the disc is a BD-R.

Ahhh, did not know there were two releases for Captain Marvel! I was just about to buy this one since I figured it was the same. Then both Captain and Zorro are a hard pass for me. Thanks for the info!

Definitely an upscale, complete with jaggies and copious dnr.

If someone wants The Adventures of Captain Marvel, the Blu-ray disc put out by Kino Lorber is excellent.

It’s nuts we can’t get more of the classic serials restored. Flash Gordon and Zorro need HD. At least one can track down the out of print best DVDs but some masters go back to the LD days and are in dire need of upgrading.

I have the Roan dvd for ZRA which is pretty good.
