I've successfully played all four Die-Hard movies with my 1400, using the latest (1.2) firmware.

I havent had a problem with my 1400 since i bought it awhile ago, i just finished watching sunshine on it and it worked perfectly. I will more than likely upgrading to the 1500 when it comes out as my main theatre room player and move the 1400 to my bedroom.

theatre room will have:
either 50in samsung lcd or sharp 65in lcd
7.1 polk audio speakers
onyko sr-805s reciever
sammy 1500/ sharp's new player
