Mr. Feltenstein answered my question about whether this title was in the pipeline on one of the last episodes of the WAC Podcast and he strongly hinted that it was coming. I couldn't be more thrilled! This is certainly an early Christmas gift for me.

Fantastic! The existing DVD has needed a remaster for years. The 3-strip registration errors are just so, so bad in some places.

It matters not. This is an immediate buy, and I’ll pop it in the minute it’s delivered. I bet it looks fantastic.

Early first impression as the girls in classroom are about to leave on holiday…wow!

I received mine yesterday and watched it last night! It looks spectacular... like a veil has been lifted after years of watching the nearly quarter-century old DVD. I never thought I would ever see this film looking so good! Truly a revelation. A big thanks to all the incredibly talented people at Warners who made this possible.

PS You can spot Elizabeth's brother, Howard, as the boy in the window on the left taunting the girls in the classroom scene theater_dreamer mentioned above.

A few random impressions. Once again an AAA+ performance from WAC, the film probably never looked as good even in theaters as it does now.

Blind-buy for me, but I'm a sucker for any sort of "boy & his dog" story (er, girl and her horse), and I've heard a lot of great things about this. Plus, $12 for a brand-new WAC title is a steal.

Weird but welcome price on this one! Just watched it two nights ago, and it was awesome. Well, except for the final scene, as shown in Randy's review pix, too bad it ended with a painted background- oh I see the whole scene was a painting- eh.
