Very surprised to read that "Dixons.co.uk asked its customers in an online poll which format they preferred: 53 percent said Blu-ray, 47 percent said HD DVD."

However, I think the number of people taking part in this poll (I wasn't one) would probably be extremely low, so I'm not too concerned about the result. Having only been in a few electrical stores recently (outside major cities), the stores are dominated by hi-def displays, of which very few are hooked up to Blu-ray or HD DVD units. Clearly, it's the TV's being pushed at the moment.
