when I type "Judy" in to the search bar and hit enter, it brings up blu-ray.com's page for Judy. But when I click on the photo for Judy that is appearing on blu-ray.com's homepage, it just brings up the Amazon page for the movie. Whomever is in charge of the site needs to do something about that. When I click on a photo link for movie on blu-ray.com, it should bring up the blu-ray.com page for that movie, not Amazon's.

The site works with Amazon otherwise we probably wouldn't have this website to begin with. |

I was very impressed with this film and Renee's performance. I had no idea that poor Judy was put though so much abuse as a child actress. I heard Shirley Temple has a similar story about her experience in Hollywood. I'm SO GLAD new laws have been put in place to protect the children.

Reported in the FandangoNow thread and the itunes thread. Judy is Lionsgate so no Movies Anywhere, you can only watch on Fandango Now |

I liked this a lot except for the Wizard of Oz flashbacks, which were a ham-fisted and unnecessary. Renée was terrific and only occasionally veered into typical Renée facial mannerisms. What I'm most interested in is seeing this with the volume up. When I see CGI explosions on the big screen, my ears are bleeding by the end -- in Judy, the volume was so low that it lost a lot of impact.

It saddens me that this wonderful film (with Oscar-worthy performance by Renée Zellweger) isn't receiving more discussion and love in this forum.
My Blu-ray arrived today and I redeemed the digital copy in iTunes/Apple TV. Now I can watch it in 4K on my Apple TV 4K. Mark |

If you think the Oz flashbacks were like Hallmark movie then you weren't watching very closely.
We're seeing her at the end of her career and her life and the flashback scenes were supposed to give some context as to why she ended up where she did. And do it in a 2-hour movie rather than in a mini series about her entire life. |

One of my favorite films of 2019, along with THE GOOD LIAR, ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOOD, THE FAREWELL, and maybe A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.
By the way, does the Blu-ray have any supplements, or is it a bare-bones release? Last edited by Jobla; 12-25-2019 at 11:05 PM. |
