![]() What should be a romantic evening with your wife turns into a nightmare when a police detective breaks into your home, accuses your wife of murder and beats you to death...
Only for you to find yourself immediately returned to the exact moment you opened the front door, stuck in a TWELVE-MINUTE time loop, doomed to relive the same terror again and again... Unless you can find a way to use the knowledge of what’s coming to change the outcome and break the loop. TWELVE MINUTES is an interactive narrative that blends the dream-like tension of THE SHINING with the claustrophobia of REAR WINDOW and the fragmented structure of MEMENTO. Featuring James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley, and Willem Dafoe Coming soon to Xbox One and PC. |

So the whole thing is an overhead view? Well I'm intrigued given the cast but not sure I like that mechanic.

So… Uh. I got one of the endings in the game. I’m assuming, no matter what you do, the facts leading up to all endings remain the same… and it’s a… doozy, for sure. Wow!

Past 2 nights I have been able to dig more truth out and almost not die; definitely over the climax of the game so just got to figure out how to close it out without dying... Mimicing the concept of the game, my GP runs out tomorrow so I'm timebound to finish this game tonight! |

I got some kind of an "ending" with achievement
[Show spoiler] but I don't think it's the right or true ending as we're still repeating. The game is interesting, but one thing I don't like is how it's padded out by being unable to like, save somehow. Like sometimes you figure out exactly what you need to do different the next loop but you have to do all these steps again just right to get back to the part where you need to do that. A lot of time wasted this way. I've been through the loop dozens of times now but I still have ideas for more things to try. Haven't cheated and looked anything up yet. |

I get that but when you're gotten to something 10 minutes in and and all you want to do is choose the opposite dialog option it's kind of frustrating having to go through all the identical steps again in the next loop.

I've been playing this all week. I'm just telling you what the experience of playing it is like sometimes. Sometimes you're on a roll and learning a bunch of stuff. Sometimes you're slogging through the same stuff you've done 20 times already. I don't think that's the point of it, no. But it does pad out the playing time quite a bit.
