How can I download video onto PS3 Hard Drive

Hi i was aondering how can i put video onto my PS3 hardrive, i just dont know how, and i am fairly certain that it can be done, any help would be great, thanx

format a USB drive as FAT32 file system (NTFS will not work with PS3), create a folder called "VIDEO" (without "s), put the video in there.
name new folders "PICTURE" and "MUSIC" for those types of files as well.

How so? It's largely reliant on the DLNA server hardware/app you're using and the speed of your LAN.

Unless you mean playing a video as it downloads from the PLAYSTATION Store which is reliant on everything between the store server and your own BB connection.

because when i enable the streaming it disconnects everything in my house connected to the wireless network, including the ps3 itself from the psn, pain in the butt.

You can save the file to USB external drive, connect it to PS3, press triangle and select copy. Then it goes into your January folder on the PS3.

Or if connected via network, select file via triangle, select copy option and it goes into your monthly folder that way too.

um if u can find a site to donwload video vide such as this free hd movie

unfourtunetly there are not bit torrent clients that run of xmb

if u would like to just install linux then download movie from a client from there and watch that way but u mite find that anoying but if u do here how to do so
