new hard drive for ps3? - Blu-ray Forum

anyone use this hard drive in their PS3?

I was wondering if it would work, i was thinking I could dump my entire music collection on the drive instead of streaming it from my computer. or is that a waste of time? I have about 250 Gb of wav files id like to put on it. or would it slow it down too much?

Theres an entire HDD replacement thread somewhere on here with info but dont waste the money on that 7200 RPM one when you get the same seagate at 5400 for 99 bucks. Or a WD for 109 bucks.
